Week 2: Dream and Works

One of the reasons why I think Randy Pausch achieved his childhood dream because I think that his parents gave him the support every way of his childhood to help groom that dream. When he wrote on the walls, he was not scolded for it, but he was allowed to explore. That gave him more space to grow his wings ad to fly. The help of his family at that young age came a long way to help him in achieving his childhood dream.   I feel that dreaming is important and that we cannot do or achieve anything without first dreaming about it. I know also that most often if the brain can think of it, it can be achieved when worked on. It is important to dream but most important to work that dream for dreams without works is like faith without works, it is then a dead thing.   One of my childhood dreams was to become an astronaut and one was to become a writer and a teacher(professor). Week 1: REFLECTION

  This week I had a few things I took away and they are: As an entrepreneur, I must see life as a journey which I am embarking on. And in a journey they may be times where I would not have things as I have planned. Live is not going to always be as I want it. I must learn to start somewhere. Everything starts with first, a dream, even if they are not huge plans there should be something to serve as a propeller. Having a dream matters because it is what fires us up to find purpose and satisfaction in this life. After dreaming, I must wake up and give life to that dream and that is working the dream. I cannot find meaning and satisfaction in what I have planned until I do what is planned. I have learned that life will not be fair, and that, I must always move on with it. Life is not always going to be blissful-in fact, it is seldom blissful. My daily habits will be etched on my soul, which in turn will become my person or character and so, I must be mindful of what I do eac...
